Wanderport Press Release

NEW YORK, Dec. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wanderport Corp. (OTC Markets-PINKSHEETS: WDRP) announced today it is completing a Finite Element Analysis on its multi-cavity microwave heating unit (MCMHU) displayed in an informal gathering held by the company on October 25th, 2011 in Burlington Vermont.

The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a simulation technique which evaluates the behavior of components, equipment and structures for various loading conditions including applied forces, pressures and temperatures. Mr. Robert Simoneau, Wanderport's Technical Advisor and Product Licensor has approved the FEA currently being completed by Design 1st Inc., who continue to be retained by Wanderport for their engineering and design expertise.

Design 1st Inc. is expecting to achieve design and shape optimization, by evaluating three-dimensional thermal stresses on components and structures within the MCMHU due to a combination of aforementioned pressure and temperature loads. In addition, Design 1st Inc. has also successfully equipped the MCMHU with external thermocouple assemblies, fittings and thermocouple probes, which are found to be fully functional having absolutely no leakage.

Wanderport acknowledges integrity testing has surpassed anticipated time lines, however, the company is of the opinion that the additional analysis and assessment is essential to produce a hassle free functional MCMHU capable of generating efficiency performance results, while withstanding the rigors of beta-testing, transport and multiple demonstrations to manufacturers.

Conversation with Andrew

Just as every other investor is able to do, I called Andrew in Investor Relations to see where we are in getting the efficiency numbers.  Here is a little of the conversation:

"So when are we going to hear something about the efficiency numbers?"
Andrew: We are in the final stages of reinstalling the heat engine into the unit.    Robert and Bruno will get the unit back from the fabricating company who is working on the outside of the unit, the thermocouplers and heat exchangers will then be reconnected and Robert and Bruno will run their tests.  That will take 2-3 days and then we will be able to announce the efficiency numbers.

"Is Design 1st doing anything right now?"
Andrew: Dave is excited and told us he already has a testing chamber ready to go, as soon as the unit gets there.

"We have been waiting for a while, some of us almost three years.  Should we expect this information early next year?"
Andrew: Well, in our financials we state,

"Loans have also served to fund preliminary UL meetings involving the acquisition of safety and efficiency guidelines applied to the pre-production, point of use multi-cavity microwave energy water heating unit.(MCMHU), which should be complete and beta-tested within the fourth quarter 2011 or early 2012."

The unit has been at the fabricating company making the outside of the unit more presentable and we are going to be getting it back soon.  From there, Robert and Bruno will fire it up and run their tests.  This should only take 2-3 days, so we are on schedule.

So that was the part of my conversation with Andrew in which we talked about the MCMHU.  My general thoughts are that we should have some soft efficiency numbers this year.  My guess would be in the next two weeks.  This is just my opinion, based on reading the quarterly report.  I suggest you do the same.  If you haven't read it, the information I find most interesting is pages 14-17.  This is due diligence you can do as an investor, in addition to calling or emailing Andrew and Robert yourself.  I highly recommend it.
